Elliot Tree is now hiring! We’re looking for an EXPERIENCED crane operator to join our team.
Tree removal sounds like a difficult and complicated process, but it doesn’t have to be. Elliot Tree uses cranes instead of having individual climbers take the trees down. Our process is fairly straightforward. We get our cranes as close to the tree as we can, then the arborist ties the tree to the boom of the crane and cuts the tree down, safely and efficiently. Crane operators are construction professionals and have an excellent judge of space and amazing hand-eye coordination. Being a mobile crane operator can be a very satisfying career because you can take pride in the fact that you have helped contribute to our customers emergency tree removal needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of tree care services, as directed by the manager
- Conducts tree risk assessments prior to working on trees
- Understands proper job site security procedures
- Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed
- Communicates well with all crew members and crew leader
- Carries out other duties as assigned by the manager
- Has great customer service and supervisory skills
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a valid crane certification
- Must be drug free
Preference goes to a CDL License holder.
